My modern  {Birthing Pod} got destroyed by modern mill. I wasnt expecting it and thus my sideboard was not prepared. :( Have you considered  {Jace, Memory Adept}?

Snap maybe, but the idea is to keep the CMC to three or below, that way you can cast multiple mill spells per turn.

 {Jace, Memory Adept} would be a great late game addition to think about. Splash in swamps and drop  {Misty Rainforest} and you are well within price range.

I run a Modern Mill deck every Friday that I've been tweaking for the past year. One thing I've learned is that you need more removal, I use {Echoing Truth}. Also, mainboard {Surgical Extraction}, people hate it but you're already playing Mill. And since it's Modern, {Archive Trap} is one of the best mill spells around! Tonight I've decided I'm running 3 {Black Sun's Zenith} mainboard, not sure how to fit 'em in yet. Also {Nephalia Drownyard} as a 2 of, it helps you not lose gas when your hand empties. Maybe even a couple {Halimar Depths}, trust me, it's waaaay better than it sounds, with your fetches it's a pretty sweet way to set up what you want to draw or to even check of it's worth keeping the deck as is. Mill is Sacred to me, I take it very seriously 😁 I come in 1st or 2nd almost every week for Modern FNM, we have about 14 regulars, all who play Competetive decks. And yes, my build can beat Tron, it's just very hard to win Game 1. Anyways, hope this helps!

Ah yeah, {Jace's Phantasm}! Love getting that turn 1 Phantasm, turn 2 {Glimpse the Unthinkable}. Also it allows the deck to win with damage, which is necessary sometimes. I'd love to get some {Cryptic Command} but those are very hard to come by, I'd also love {Damnation}.

The new split card in DGM has one side that mills 8 for 2 mana, just if you need some extra big milling.
