Alright tell me if this works.

Game today with my friend. He had {Omnath, the Locus of Mana} and a {Primeval Titan} floating no mana. I had a {Goblin Arsonist} and a {Skirsdag Cultist}

I played {Wild Hunger} on the Goblin then {Prey Upon}: my gobin versus his titan. (this is where i think im wrong) before my goblin died i activated the cultist ability sac the Goblin an dealing the 2 damage to the titan and the 1 damage to Omnath.

Is this legal?

I'd send you to look at a specific rule, but it's just easier to cut/paste:
608.2b If the spell or ability specifies targets, it checks whether the targets are still legal. A target that's no longer in the zone it was in when it was targeted is illegal. Other changes to the game state may cause a target to no longer be legal; for example, its characteristics may have changed or an effect may have changed the text of the spell. If the source of an ability has left the zone it was in, its last known information is used during this process. The spell or ability is countered if all its targets, for every instance of the word "target," are now illegal. If the spell or ability is not countered, it will resolve normally. However, if any of its targets are illegal, the part of the spell or ability's effect for which it is an illegal target can't perform any actions on that target or make that target perform any actions. The effect may still determine information about illegal targets, though, and other parts of the effect for which those targets are not illegal may still affect them.

It is not if you let the goblin deal damage to the titan before sacrificing him. You either sac him or let him fight, because if you let him fight, he dies...and you can't sacrifice a dead goblin like that. On the other hand you can sac him but he can't fight using prey upon because he is already dead from being sacrificed!

I hope I answered your question...it was kinda hard for me to understand lol

Edit: I see BJ posted before me. He is correct but that rule looks very confusing. It uses the word illegal like twenty thousand times!!! I hope this post matches up with whatever that rule is saying!

To summarize the rule, your play was legal, you can sac your goblin in response to Prey Upon. But when you do, prey upon will not do any damage to the Titan since the goblin is no longer in play. Youll have dealt two damage to Prime time and one to Omnath. .

Haha don't worry I just had to tell my bro that the two {Mikaeus, the Lunarch}s that I played last game should have killed eachother! I still would have won anyway though... >:)

You know what's neat about that, though?  They would have brought each other back once.  and then died again.  XD

Which in hindsight could actually be useful

Oops, I was thinking of his "evil twin", {Mikaeus, the Unhallowed}.  My bad.
