Good idea, have you considered {wolfir silverheart} or is he not aggro enough? What about {mugging} or {pillar of flame}? Or {flinthoof boar}? How many {fling} are you running?

Ieatfood7

I've got four flinthoof boar. I had been running four flings, but draw multiples is rough so I cut it to three. I have I think the silver heart is too slow, my most expensive card is a single mark of mutiny (three more in sideboard).

I want more direct damage but space is tight. I have two searing spears main and two in sideboard. I need any damage to Also be able to go to the head I think, so no mizzium mortars. And I think I need the three damage to deal with vampire knight hawk and boros rekoner.   What do you think?

Ieatfood7

Not sure how to link a deck here, but if you google Tapped Out Ieatfood7 Fling you will find my deck list and my "maybe board" of things I have debated. At the moment, the lands Are the only rare cards

Boyesrobert

I checked it out, my friend is running bet close to the same deck actually. And you're right, it's a very good, cheap deck

Ieatfood7

Thanks. I got the list from the Internet, fudged some numbers, cut  {Rush of Blood}, switched your vampire noble for the dryad (mostly just for budget reasons, but it helps against reanimated a little too) and switched slaughter horn for giant growth. Not sure any way I can make it better, even with $. You see my maybe list. A lot of good stuff, but mostly too slow or expensive. Strange to think of three mana as too expensive lol

Ieatfood7

Ash zealot and stranglerroot Geist are perfect, but double red or double gree is hard at this speed. I think I need to make room for more direct damage, but I don't see where

Boyesrobert

Yeah, {young wolf}?
{brimstone volley}?

Ieatfood7

I think brimstone volley may cost too much, as I usually end a game with 2-4 lands, and hopefully tap out each turn. It would bring some heavy hitting though....  Maybe cut searing spear for it....not sure what else I can cut.

I like young wolf a lot, and just wonder if he is fast enough. If I don't enchant him he is just one damage a turn, but if I do, then I still lose the enchantment if they kill him. I've debated him, maybe in the sideboard instead of reckless waif, to come in against direct creature kill decks like yours...then again, decks like yours are when I need to be at my fastest

Boyesrobert

What about {court street denizen}?

Boyesrobert

{foundry street denizen} my bad

Ieatfood7

Do you mean the red one? I like him ok, but he is on average going to be a 2/1 and he will be a 1/1 more often than a 3/1. And always 1/1 on defense (though I don't do much of that). I think he is ok, but not as good as just the Druid.

Ieatfood7

Again is the mana problem. He needs new mana every turn. And when I have three lands, I'm not going to have much to spare. He is a cool idea though, since he gives two guys fire breathing it is hard to block effectively.   Then when you think you block right to absorbe two fire breathing damage,  {Ghor-Clan Rampager} ;)

Boyesrobert

Yeah and plus he is a good way to never waste mana

Ieatfood7

True, he is a mana outlet, but on an average turn I have one mana free. I would usually rather have a 2/1 than a sometimes 2/1. You do have me intrigued now though. He is unreliable and mana hungry, but is that sneakiness on the extra damage (him or the soulbond creature) worth it?  I don't think so, but maybe.
