I'm not sure I even know what the scroll mechanic does....I feel stupid.

Is it just a way for you to copy a spell a limited amount of times? Like super rebound kinda? Are those copies counter-able via the rules? Would a split-second type effect be a good counter mechanic for scroll?
Yes scroll copies are counterable, you cannot use the ability scroll on the copies, and I still don't quite know what split second does.

Hey. Just for fun, I'm going to combine the nature mechanics to see what they'd look like together

{G}{3}

Put 2 1/1 green elf creature tokens In play

Divergence 1- any player may pay {2} to copy this spell. Replacing any numbers with the number 1

Ecobound-if you control 3 or more creature types, you may put a 1/1 {G} elf creature token into play each time this spell is copied by an opponent

When does the voting end?
Voting will end when this place has lost intrest, I will say you guys have 2 days, then it will end.  If there is a tie at that time, we have a problem....

Would there be any space to have the spells controller be able to pay for opponents to NOT be able to copy the spell?

Like:
Unsuit {U}

Return target creature to its owner's hand.

Divergence - Each opponent may CAST a copy of this spell for {1} unless Unsuits controller pays {1} for each opponent who copied the spell this way.

I'm not good at the rules. Just wondering if there is some room to play around.

The idea behind the mechanic is tht the spell is uncontrolled or restrained. It forces a play style where people leave mana open instead of paying a whole bunch into big spells and progressing ahead.

Wouldn't it also be important for mages seeking progress to be able to manipulate the spell also? A sort of tug of war.

FlickerYourOwnIdentity

Divergence is a nature mech though, why would it seek progress?

So that the keyword can be used in blue.
