{Tragic Slip},  {Devour Flesh}, and  {Olivia Voldaren} also the  {Rakdos Keyrune}

These are all great. The keyrune will help all game. Providing ramp and a great blocker. If you're blocking Reckoner with the keyrune you're doing it wrong. Tragic slip, victim, devor flesh, and mutilate are meant to handle him. So main board those mutilates! Also 4 grisle is too much. I know the idea is a to play one early off of ghast, but it will be seen miles away and ghast will die the moment you play him. You don't want to rely heavily on him.
Hmmm..I like your input, any suggestions on how the deck should run?

Stabilize the board with removal and   {Olivia Voldaren} then either  {Griselbrand} or  {Rakdos's Return} them to death.  {Olivia Voldaren} can even finish your opponent

I suggest running a 2-2 split of {Griselbrand} and {Lord of the Void}. Then you can essentially have 2 Grisel's in play at the same time. Mine runs a little differently, but {Lord of the Void} is a powerhouse dude, he lives through {Mutilate} easily if you do it right, and he's slightly nicer on the mana.

I've been HEAVILY debating whether or not to run {Sever the Bloodline} in the sideboard for Reanimator or Zombies, {Gravecrawler} just kinda laughs at all the removal this deck sports. Also, idk about mainboard {Slaughter Games}, seems like a dead draw game 1.

First things first, 4 {Mutilate} mainboard, period. The meta demands it.

Yeah get those in there. You don't need the slaughter games unless you know what your playing against before hand, like against your friend, so sideboard them. If your meta isn't heavy on turning dudes sideways you can even sideboard the surgeons.

You want to play this deck drawgo in the early game. You're hoping for them to over extend by turn four so you can drop a mutilate and start your game. All your cards need to be must answers but like I said you don't want to rely heavily on grisle. Those ghast have huge targets on there heads and you don't want hands with multiple grisle and no way to cast them is ghast died.

Okay, so I'm looking to just control until turn 4 and then play creatures then. Using mutilate to keep the board clean

Turn 4 slam a {mutilate} against hyper aggresive decks turn 5 {crypt ghast} turn 6 {grisselbrand} "pause dramatically smile and wait for a response if there is none you have won the game :)

The keyrune also hits {thragtusk}, which is still very much a thing

What should I take out for it?

You could do a 3-3 split with  {Mutilate}
