How to play?

I know that you are supposed to post every move , but my question is rather how does one remember what is on the battlefield? It's easy with your own deck because i guess you actualy use your deck at home. But the opponents cards I wouldnt know how to keep track.... I mean it is easy with one or two creatures out but when things get hairy there can be quite a lot going on on the battlefield...:-)
