Yes, some people have some very strange karma habits as of late. If I may say a few words on the matter...

There has been a lot of trolling regarding karma lately. I'd like to point out that
A) The mods are watching the karma log carefully looking for abuse, and we CAN see who is the source of the hit.
B) While karma is yours to give or take for whatever reason you find fitting, there is one exception - you may not break iMtG law. Most notably "Do not harm." Singling out a member and stalking their karma by repeatedly hitting it for no reason other than a grudge or personal dislike of the person (which we have seen being done) is a harmful act. Rifling through the forums and spamming karma on members is a harmful act. Please do not do these, as it is part of forum law.
C) Just be nice! Forums are a social hydra, each member a different head. The hydra isn't happy if it's heads are biting at the napes of the other necks. We're all here because we have a common interest, and because we -want-to be here. Just try to keep that in mind.

And just a personal note, regarding A. I want to remind/assure users that just because we mods can see karma with clarity, we are by no means exempt from negative karma. You are welcome to give out posts the "thumbs-down" just like any other member if you see fit - we will NOT retaliate, think ill of you, or be upset in any way. Just the same, giving us positive karma will not give you special favor or handouts, but we will appreciate it all the same Karma should be a tool for learning what is appreciated and what isn't, and we are subject to that just as you all are.

U need to follow your own rules u worthless excuse for a mod.

DC is a great mod, and broke no rules in giving you negative karma for what you did in the rules section. Karma is for everyone to give and take as they see fit, and he saw it fit to give you -1 for what you did. You can't tell him his opinion is wrong; that would be illogical. Now please, enough with the name calling. Lets keep this forum a positive place to be.

You definitely need a timeout. Quit being a child. Karma is a made up number that relies more on how helpful/ how big of a douche you are being rather than trades. You're just being a tool to a moderator doing his job. He gave you -1 karma for how you treated him. 3 other people gave you -1 as well. 4 people thought you were being a douche. Get over yourself. And as long as you keep this charade up disturbing the peace and abusing a mod ill be giving you -1 karma every time I am available to.

Holy cow, are you a prepubescent 12 year old?! We are trying to discuss the reasoning of your -karma here, as was attempted in the previous thread you made.
I've been reading this conversation and not posting, but as even Gorzo is at a loss for words I feel I will speak directly to you now.

You are digging your own grave, with every snarky, immature remark you make. At this point, you aren't even attempting to fix your problem. Insulting the app creator and an admin are sure fire ways to get yourself banned.

Some advice: cut it out now and apologize, and maybe you won't get banned. As it is, I wouldn't be surprised if Piotr banned you just for that comment, coupled with the plethora of other immature remarks you've decided to bestow upon us.

Read back through some of your older comments. A lot of people give - karma when people don't use correct grammar, write irrelevant posts, or say dumb things. I'm not saying you specifically do this but it is worth reading through your old comments and checking for.
