If I have a {lord of the void} in play and I go {green sun's zenith} for 3(x). They have no response so I go get {Dosan the Falling Leaf}. Can they then respond with a kill spell and destroy lord of the void? Or does he live?

No Cos dosan is on the field, if they used a instant speed removal in response to you play the {Green Sun's Zenith} they could have but they missed there chance

If they don't respond to the Zenith, then they cannot stop Dosan. Part of Zenith's effect is putting the creature on the battlefield. If they can't stop the Zenith, they can't stop Dosan, and thus, cannot play spells on your turn.

To clarify. Once you begin to search (assuming you allowed them the chance to say "ok, continue" this is known as passing priority and is done whenever a spell or ability is triggered, activated, or cast) it is too late to respond since you retain priority until you activate something new or a new trigger is triggered.

Yes they have the opportunity before you resolve the zenith, but if they dont take it and try to change their mind based on which creature you grab too bad. This is why the zenith says "or less" on it so you can grab something of a lower cost if your opponent impedes your ability or want to play what you origionally meant to get.

Yeah I figured this was a priority issue and they understood so we played it right.
