Crypt Ghast illegal in Edh?

Also if it is legal its color identity is still just black right?

As far as I know, {Crypt Ghast} is not banned. Will double check and edit this post in a minute to make sure. Edit: confirmed by mtgCommander.net and the official ban list. Crypt Ghast is legal.

As for extort, extort is legal in mono black and mono white decks. The W/B hybrid symbol is in the reminder text, and is not considered part of the cart itself. Reminder text is exempt from EDH color identity. So yes, the ghast is legal in a mono-black deck.
