Cards that cost a billion mana ({Omniscience}) do really well in 2HG. Fast decks tend to suffer as well. When you look at it, everyone's threat has 2 answers to it.

Aggro decks usually alway run out of cards and spend all their time top decking, while control and combo gain enough traction to completely go off.
