May not be fully common, but cheap enough to be...
{Fire Ants} +  {Venomous Fangs}

{Battered Golem} + {Banishing Knack} + {Lotus Petal}.

Now add {Grapeshot}. 😈

I'm afraid this combo will not work. {Lotus Petal} must be sacrificed (part of its activation cost) if you want to add that mana to your mana pool, so you wouldn't be able to return it to your hand and play it again...

Could anybody confirm this, please?

You dont use it.
You make so that the golem can tap to return permanents to hands. You use it to return the petal. Then you play the petal for {0}.
Golem now untaps an you return the petal again.
Each time you do this your {grapeshot} gets 1 more copy when you cast it.

You can try to hit with the quillspike or then use other cards like {Rite of Consumption}.

I've managed to use the combo in turn 3. Hope you like it!

 {Quillspike} is uncommon!

[Antirayman]

 {Immolating Souleater} +  {Assault Strobe} or  {Tainted Strike}
Instead of  {Immolating Souleater} you can use  {Kiln Fiend} and phyrexian mana spells like {Gitaxian Probe} or  {Mutagenic Growth}.

[Rhazor]

{Quillspike} is uncommon!
