Sending larger number of cards

I am thinking of selling common lots of cards that I have around on ebay. I was wondering if anyone has done this and if so, how do you ship them? I don't want to end up spending more on the boxes/shipping then what I would actually make in the sale to begin with.

Check the shipping cost at your local post office then put that in the shipping price

I sold a collection off a few years ago on eBay it was like 70,000 cards and I shipped UPS due to the weight it cost me about 150.00 so make sure when you enter a shipping price it's enough to cover the cost.
