Someone seems to have been busy dishing out negative karma for no apparent reason

Indeed, mods are dealing with the person who did it. This type of behavior is trolling, violates iMtG law, and is not acceptable. On a brighter note, looks like an awesome person counter-balanced the trolling - good on you, awesome person!

Hypothetically; would trolling in a positive way and giving positive karma willy nilly or making a karma boosting post be against forum law? Would that be "lying"?

I would say no in this case as it was done to counteract the negative troll

I should have 9 karma, not 10. I checked, and only gained 1 since the karma troll in the "last to post wins" thread. Unless maybe I gained 2 karma for my post in the new trusted traders thread that is. I didn't go back that far. Still, I think it wouldn't be fair to keep undeserved karma, and wish for a mod to correct the problem please. This is getting on my nerves. Thabk you

Not necessarily. The karma log has only been tracking since its creation, so it doesnt hace everything. Go to your profile and click on your karma to see all the karma that people have given/taken away from you. I'm sure you'll find its quite different.

Edit: never mind. I was at 2 before my karma started going up again, not one. And there is 8 increases, and 1 negated decrease

Edit: wait. The decrease is from my comment on the getting things back from exile, not from the "last post wins" thread. So I should only have 9 karma

Some members are of the belief that the rules do not apply to them. We're not asking for all that much, we provide a free service along with anyone else who assists in rule answering, gives deck help and keeps lively conversation.

-1 Karma is my way of giving back to everyone who makes this more difficult then it has to be. I don't want to make enemies, i am here to help - donate my free time to make this forum a resource for new and old players. I love this community since I first got involved.

Cal8301 did the wrong thing by me, and I am not pleased. With that being said, today is a new day.

But there has been trolling going on. I got like 2 -1 karmas and dont know why. I saw the post they gave me -1 karma but still dont understand.
