Addiction is a real and serious issue. Sexually-based addictions have serious dangers and shame attached to them. I've had to see two people go through this. One I was able to help successfully and it was a heart wrenching experience, but thankfully with a happy ending. The other was unwilling to be helped and I eventually had to cut ties for my own sake, couldn't watch her destroy her life anymore.

So...I do apologize for the mini-rant, but I don't feel sex addiction is giggle-worthy just because it mentions sex. Not after what I've seen people go through.

Okay so I have a {Boros Reckoner} and my friend really wants it.
They're offering me {worldspine wurm}, {angel of serenity} and a bad {mirror-mad phantasm}. I like the first two the phantasm is just give me away basically but are they worth boros reckoner and maybe even a {boros charm} too?

Nope.  The Reckoner is worth way more than the others combined.

I don't even use boros reckoner and have tried to make a deck with it and have done badly. I play selesnya so I would think its more beneficial to me.

Can always say to trade for future value. For example tell him you get five or ten in value

You guys agree on that price and since your cards are worth $10 more he owes you $10 in trades in the future. Also make a clause where he can only say no a certin number of times. Or you can have him pay the difference or add more cards

He's given me lots of cards in the past so it evens it out. He gave a clone to someone for one and they never complained. But I'm happy

Yup an this trade is person to person so I trust him. And yeah. He was lucky. I care about card wealth so yeah. He's given me a lot of rares so I'm happy

So I'm curious to hear from the married people. Do your spouses give you a hard time for playing magic if they themselves don't play? I know mine does, she always asks me if I am gonna play my silly card game and gives me a hard time when I come home with more cards.

My wife did at first but she got used to it, and eventually even learned the basics of how to play. I've played in bands ever since we've known each other and shes been cool about that, so she realizes this is just one more thing that im into.

Have a buddy whos learning german, so he bought a box gatecrash in german. It just got here and we did sealed, we were all suprised by the number of cards we had to look up in the middle of a game.
