Could you pass it?

So, after game day this weekend, we played a gatecrash draft. First pack I got had a clan defiance and I got passed some good Gruul and Boros and committed to those colors. Master biomancer was my second pack. I wanted to hate draft, but another Boros charm was calling my name. However, I was them handed a pack with a foil Gideon. So, that raises the question, could you have passed those cards and/or what's the priciest card you've passed?

I'd have to take the pricy cards, if it was just a casual LGS Draft.

Don't have to worry about it where I draft we don't keep our pulls. Foils/rares go in on the table after all rounds and the 1st get 1st pick, 2nd gets 2nd pick and so on till there's nothing left

Ouch really don't like that unless they share the prize pack equally.

It's a double dip for the winner and makes your choice easier.

Last draft I went to first pack had {Boros reckoner} and a foil {dormi raid} I went with reconer cuz I needed one more for play set and have a playset of dormi
What one would you go for

I think our store would ban you for that but it would be really hard to pass on $30 to your left. Ugh.

I don't mind it seeing as it makes for more interesting decks n playing. No real worries about hate drafting and what not

I probably wouldn't pass it if I knew it was a gotta have card, otherwise I wouldn't mind too much. But I can easily say that I would prefer sealed.

One of the shops around here does that. It's terrible. I dislike that method very much. And I have place there, still not a fan.
