Am I the only one who sees potential for populate is Standard? It's a fantastic mechanic, and has plenty of cards to unleash its potential.

Drop the fire manes for  {Garruk Relentless}

Hmm... I really debated whether or not {Garruk Relentless} gets a slot in the deck, but he just doesn't fit. He either makes tokens that are too small to be worth populating, or does what {Skarrg Guildmage} is supposed to do but in a much more complicated way.

Midnight haunting,
And {Intangible Virtue} is a must

I had 2 {Midnight Haunting} in the sideboard, but replaced them with 2 {Righteous Charge}. This deck is about swinging hard from the ground, not blocking in the sky. Any flyers I need come from {Geist-Honored Monk}.

As for {Intangible Virtue}, I just can't see what it'll replace. What do you suggest?

 {Huntmaster of the Fells}, if your not on a budget. I like how you get wolves with him.

Hmm.... I'm seriously considering {Intangible Virtue} now..... But I think I prefer a late game {Revive} over it. Getting a {Selesnya Charm} back in my hand can be a game changer.

What sort of Gruul cards would go well in this deck?

Maybe I am wrong but it looks a little inconsistent...

I would use  {Restoration Angel} instead of  {Firemane Avenger}...  Firemane is nice but has no immediate impact on the battlefield... Resto can protect ur creatures by flicking and can also populate by blinking ur monk for example... {Huntmaster of the Fells} would fit there as well...

I'd love to put those in, but this deck is WAY too budget for those. Thanks for the input, though!

I'm thinking of replacing {Revive} with some sort of token generator. Any thoughts?
