I think with the lake of heavy control decks in my meta that a powerful combo deck may have good standings.

It's hard for even the delver decks to deal with a turn 4 blightsteel turn 5 day of judgment swing for 11 infect.

There is still a issue with drawing into a blighty but I think with only two in deck you shouldnt see both of them before you shape anew for the other one.
I May try Merfolk looter but I think it will be fine with out it.

Someone posted a {Shape Anew} deck with {Precursor Golem}. I thought that was a good idea. It'd need other support though. Like this idea though.

I may be out of the realm of standard decks but how many people actually run {surgical extraction}? I don't know many people who do

I know a lot of people running it, or side boarding it. There's a reason why it's a 6 almost 7 dollar card.
Not to put your deck down but the shape anew was played out before 2012. You might surprise someone with a first game win but after that they know your strategy and it's pretty easy to counteract your deck, especially with all the artifact removal.
