Great Work of Phyrexia

Okay guys, I just recently built myself a Blue-Green-Black Phyrexian deck. I have the Praetors, Chancellors and Exarchs of those three colours in there, and absolutely none of my creatures have Infect. It has 100 cards, 42 of which are mana. It has purely New Phyrexia cards in there as well.

I tried it out last night and it failed miserably. I think I might need to branch out into the Mirrodin Besieged and Scars of Miirodin sets to complete it properly. Anyone have suggestions for cards to try and get?

I second this. I've found 60 to 65 is a good are to be. Although my 65 card deck was rebels. And rebels tutor rebels. So that's actually a speacil case. But even so, 66 cards made the deck not work...

I have yet to find a case when ive had to go over 60 to make a deck better since i learne how to build decks

Try and narrow it down to 60 cards and post the deck, we'll be able to help you out better.
A couple things to help narrow things down.

1) Come up with a theme/win condition. Do the cards all fit the description properly, or help you work toward your goal?

2) After some play testing, how much value does each card actually carry within the deck?

3) Will this card(s) be a dead draw in many situations? Is this card(s) only truly effective in a certain situation.

Try and apply these questions to the cards in the deck, and if they fail those tests, take them out. Also keep in mind mana cost, the praetors are good, but very costly (especially {Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur}). Hopefully this will narrow the deck down a bit.

I've played a fair few games with this deck now, and I've found that 80% of the time I get flooded with mana. I've taken mana out, so we'll see how that goes.

As fit the size of the deck, almost everyone I play against uses a milling deck as their primary, so I built it big to try and survive that.
