How to beat life gain

I think your best bet is to make a infect deck. Assuming that her deck doesn't really get alot of blockers until turn 3 or 4 u could have her dead by then. The best part is to make a good aggro infect deck is really inexpencive. I think I built mine for a total of about 10 bucks.

Infect would be insane in simic. Moving +1/+1 counters onto your infect cards...are there cards that give infect to a creature? Give it to an evolving creature

Ya infect is definitely the way to go. If she has a lot of blocker go with either
A) {artful dodge} as a staple
B) {blighted agent} as a staple
Ooor
C) {livewire lash}-based infect

Good cards for all 3 options are {apostle's blessing} {mutagenic growth} {groundswell} and {might of old krosa}

Just go life gain yourself and throw a {Felidar Sovereign} in!

Infect plus proliferate to speed it up.

Ooh, now I want to build an infect deck. I was tardy for the party when infect was in standard, so I didn't bother toying with it. Now I want to try it out.

Proliferate is awful in infect.. Way too slow, but ya try it out im sittin on turn 3-4 wins literally every game

As a {Johnny, Combo Player}, I have to recommend infinite combos to beat life gain decks.

Doesn't matter if they have 600 life if you have {Kiki Jiki, Mirror Breaker} and any of {Restoration Angel}, {Deciever Exarch}, {Pestermite}, {Zealous Conscripts}, {Village Bell-Ringer}, etc...

Or just throw down {Exquisite Blood} + {Sanguine Bond}.  Or any of the other wonderful combos out there.

I believe the most effective is {leyline of punishment}, yeah you go ahead and turn 1. {cathedral sanctifier} for 0 life gain
