Plainswalkers and balance of colours.

From a small amount of calculations (and if wizards are keeping things balanced) I highly doubt there will be another black plainswalker printed in the next set.

Out of the 15 (that i can currently count) in standard at the moment, here are my findings.

5 currently have {B}
4 have {U},{R}&{G} each
And only 3 have {W}

This leaves me to determine that they will try and balance with the rest.
I suspect there may be a return of {Ajani Vengeant} or another boros colored walker. (being the dual deck counter to nicol b)
Leaving a {U}{G} highly possible (as was discussed in the Gideon thread). Leaving {W} still one behind or the possibity of a third mono {W}.
Also it could mean that there is a second tri colored one bringing some balance in a different sort of fashion.

Of course I have no knowledge of any of this and it's all just speculation, also I'm not really sure if they have a 'two plainswalker per set' kind of rule or not..

Anyways feel free to share your theories or correct my information

They'd certainly do take things like this into consideration, although I have to think there are so many more factors to consider rather than raw colour symbols.... For example I think there is a lot of powerful blue planeswalkers right now..... So I doubt we'd see another one right soon, except isn't there suppose to be a new planeswalker coming in dragons maze that is blue-red cause it was spoiler in plainswalkers 2013.

His name is Ral Zarek, the only modern (not a format ref.) Planeswalker besides Kiora Atua that has yet to recieve an actual printing.

What makes them a modern referenced planeswalker? Do you mean in the literature?

There have been many Planeswalkers in Magic Lore, but since the first printed Walkers, the modern ones, so to speak, the only referenced walkers yet to receive a card are those 2 previously mentioned.

I hope so! {G}{W} is my favorite color combo, and a plainswalker in that flavor would be incredible.

I'd like to see a marriage of lifegain and beat down in a PW, even if only for the coolness factor.

I can't remember where, but I think I read that DGM will have only one PW, and the going theory is that it'll be Ral, due to the artwork.  If I can find a link, I'll post it.

As much as I like jace, they need to stop making new ones, the past two sets alone had a new jace in each of them
