Planeswalkers

Getting back into Magic and I am wondering if Planeswalkers can use their loyalty abilities the turn they come into play.  I gather that they can, after reading the rule, can someone confirm please?

Yes, just as the rules say, you can use the abilities the turn they enter the battlefield.  Good reading of the rules.
