Can {Trickbind} be used to counter Miracle costs payed, such as {Terminus}? the rulings say it can be used on cards cast for their Madness costs (such as {Call to the Netherworld}) but does it work the same way for Miracle cards?

MasterNERD3769

It would because the card effect has to involve mana to not be effective

Yes, you can. Miracle counts as a triggered ability that goes off after the card is revealed. If you counter it, the card would go back to being hidden in their hand.

I thought miracle was a replacement effect?

From the Comprehensive Rules;

702.92a Miracle is a static ability linked to a triggered ability (see rule 603.10). "Miracle [cost]" means "You may reveal this card from your hand as you draw it if it's the first card you've drawn this turn. When you reveal this card this way, you may cast it by paying [cost] rather than its mana cost."

MisterJH

Ok so you can counter them revealing the card's effect? Got it
