A banding deck with fog banks? Perhaps?

Quackmaster5

Dude, if you get support for this, I will make it. I already have a fun banding deck. Not so successful. But fun none the less. I will bump it in casual.

MisterJH

Oh i planned on makig one haha

Quackmaster5

Now would its protection work on creatures banded with it?

Superkurd13

That's what I'd
Hope. I'd love to see a semi-viable
Banding deck :)

Kareason

If you band {Fog Bank} with 1 or more creatures you will get this result. (Assuming you only do this to block).

As the Bands controller you can place all damage dealt to the Band by opposing creature onto FB, thus negating it. Since FB would not actually contribute damage (0 attack) then the blocked creature would take damage as normal from the rest of the Band.

Rass

Need to make your wall able to attack too then

MisterJH

Oh true itd be better with an indestructible card.. Otherwise you need an animate wall.. Actually, how would it affect a metalcraft {etched champion}? Hmm

Kareason

I used to pull a similar stunt with {Uncle Istavan} or {Wall of Shadows}.

Qpwner

Banding with a {Phytohydra} would be funny.

MisterJH

Also {sprouting phytohydra}

Does banding bypass "protection from"?  Example. Green creature with banding and a pro green creature. Can they band together?

It has to have some part of the band be a legal blocker (if defending) or legal attacker (if on offense). In your example the blocking band can have a green creature in it but it will simply deal no damage (to the total) but it does contribute to the overall defense total.
