Karn liberated

I love {Karn Liberated} for his flavor and utility but realize he has a 7cc. Does anyone think he will be playable in modern, because I'd like to build and incorporate him, but am having trouble piecing something together.

Ofc he is playable. Get him in a control or mana ramp deck, if you get to protect him for 4 turns, on the fifth restart the game and win against any deck
