Can you {flicker} an aura to attach it to another permanent in combat? I think I found something like that in the rules, but am just testing my reading comprehension

Yes.
And I think this is a way around shroud as well.

What if you flicker an aura your opponent just played, or a creature they just attached an aura to?

I believe since it returns it to its owners control, they would choose a new target for it if you flicked it. If you flicked their creature with an aura on it, the aura would fall off and be sent to the graveyard.

Could you {cloudshift} {fiend hunter} and exile a second creature? I know that's off topic, so the questions will stop here

It's similar to  {Oblivion Ring}, if you flicker it before the ETB exile effect resolves, when it does resolve its fiend hunter is gone and the first card exiled is gone forever...

If you flicker the creature in response to them playing the aura spell, the aura won't have a target anymore so it will "fizzle" and go to the graveyard.

If you flicker an aura already attatched to a creature, the aura's controller when it re-enters the battlefield chooses what it enchants.

If you flicker a creature that is enchanted by an aura, the aura falls off and goes to the graveyard.
