As long as he's not worth a consistent amount I'd like to get 3. Don't get me wrong, he's cool, but I don't want to pay top dollar for him. Please Pro Circuit don't break him right away!

EDIT: Holy crap! His loyalty gain is a +1, so he gets a loyalty counter regardless of whether or not they have dudes, and actually, he gets X+1, where X is the number of dudes they have. Oh mama this guy is beefy!

That's why he's gonna be broken, he's  {Worldfire} and  {Thragtusk} rolled into one card for white.

He's low costed, so he won't ruin your day. He won't wildly swing your curve, fits perfectly into Superfriends deck and is a win condition. It's almost like he's a cool artifact on the battlefield and not a Planeswalker. It's an interesting take on them.

Honestly that's what I wasthinking about Gideon.  I don't think he seems maindeck worthy really.  A hell of a sideboard card though.

I think the new Gideon is seriously overpowered. You guys don't think so? Turn 2 having him on the field he's a 5/5 (at the lowest) who is indestructible and can get in there. If the have blockers, you use his +1 and gain 1-5 more loyalty. I think he's crazy good.

New Gideon is a creep. It's not super important to kill him in most decks, but look at Esper Superfriends or American Superfriends. Just keep using {Terminus}, {Supreme Verdict} and recycle with {Elixir of Immortality}. Add new Gideon, wipe the board and swing in for more damage.
