Gun threats?

I know about the newton catastrophe, and do not wish to make light of the situation, but this seems to have caused people to do something similar. My high school has received 2 gun threats this week, and the state police will be present tommorow Presumably to dissuade any violence. Has the happened anywhere else, or is my area being unique?

Pretty sure it happens at least once in most areas. It's a shame really.

Yea it is. My high school also had to be evacuated last year because someone said that they had a bomb in the school, luckily it was a bluff but it is still slightly rattling

How big is your school though?  I go to a high school with like, 300-400 students, so it isn't very big and we haven't had any threats to my knowledge.

Two friends of mine that are still in high school don't have school tomorrow from a threat of a shooting. So it's not only your school.

That's about how many kids there are total in my high school , it's pretty small, but for some reason people feel the need to threaten my school repeatedly and they keep taking the people away, but new kids keep doing stupid things.

Happened to my school after columbine. It's pretty common sadly, especially after an event like this and violence is fresh in everyone's minds. Idiot delinquents just want to upset people, and are too dumb to understand the consequences of their actions.

Teen Pregnancies seem to be the norm anywhere. People can't keep thier pants on anymore these days.

High school of 1,400 people here. We get those a lot. I wouldn't worry about it, staff know what to do. They're pretty well versed in what to do when these things arise.

We never get threats, we just get arrests outside of school for it... #ThugLyfe

When my school had a bomb threat a couple years ago, they had everyone go to the stands right next to the school.
