Well, whenever a creature with death touch does combat damage to a creature it dies at the end of turn/combat phase?

Actually it's whenever a creature with deathtouch deals ANY damage, so yes the combo works like that.

On wizards of the coast it says combat damage. But on the cards it just say any damage. I'm very confused.

This combo works. People have been running it at GP's. I believe the last GP winner was running this combo.
