Anyone see the robot chicken DC special?

Bane kills batman in the comic by breaking his back.  The did a neat spin and kept it somewhat authentic without killing Bruce Wayne.  Rented it last night and watched it then and this morning.  The second movie was too hard to top.....the joker was awesome.  This one was good too.

No he doesn't kill him. Just crippled him which brings about the rise of Nightwing (Dick Graceson) to replace Batman while he heals. I own the complete Batman encyclopedia.

You must be right.  I have not read it since a kid and I thought bane killed him when he broke his back.  But now that you mention it I think I remember reading some after that and Bruce Wayne was in a wheel chair.
