That one control archetype...

Can someone point me in the right direction on an example of the control archetype were it plays a bunch of stuff that isn't worth using removal stuff on? I want to know so I have more knowledge for deck building purposes

Modern or standerd. Red/blue. That as priority, though any set of colors would also be welcome. Since more combos of colors would give more options and ideas

UBR is my preference but idk enough about control to gel em all together

I mean like..Myr decks has a bunch of mana dorks that aren't worth removing...I am not too such what else to tell ya.

Hmm along those lines perilous myr, alpha/omega myr, hovermyr, the list goes OOOON and OOON

Esper Control uses {Lingerig Souls} and floods the field with 1/1 tokens. It uses like 3 at a time and makes you waste removal, then makes more.

This idea centralizes around the {rest in peace}, {misthollow griffin} interaction back up by whatever you want. The idea is simple, control/ wrath/ draw cards into a favorable board state and then win with never ending griffins or block until you can burn or mill them out. I have built a bant lifegain version, a red burn/ aggro version, a black big beats version, and even an enchantment based version that at one point had my opponent paying 12 mana for each attacker.
