Just make your commander  {Sharuum the Hegemon} and you'll be good.

Aha! Brilliant i had yet to think of the coating!
Some other ways of tutoring my arti creatures other than {Fabricate}?

The {Arcbound} creatures, mana accellerators like {Mana Crypt}, {Knowledge Pool} if you're in to that sort of thing ({curse of exhaustion} with that is evil), {Grim Monolith} + {Power Artifact} for infinite mana, draw spells like {Minds Aglow}, {Blue Sun's Zenith}, {Stroke of Genius}. {Counterspell}s like {Cancel}, {Mana Drain}, {Force of Will}, and {Pact of Negation}. {Platinum Emperion}, {Platinum Angel}, {Font of Mythos}, {Howling mine}, {Urza's Tower} and it's counterparts could be good.

Oh and {Academy Ruins} that hasn't been mentioned yet.

Don't forget about {memnite} and {ornithopter } and a {phyrexian walker} so you can sac them with arcums ability and get a really useful artifact can't forget about a { kill switch} with the lattice
