There is a new mod pack out to rival tekkit called "Feed the Beast." It's got many of the same mods, plus some new ones but with a few removed. After a couple hours of trying it, it's a bit more confusing than tekkit, but that could be the lack of a well-composed wiki. Still interesting. There's beekeeping!

Hm... I might try it, I'm very successful on my tekkit world but still want to do something unique with my world and don't know what... Is there ComputerCraft on Feed the Beast?

Kinda glad equivalent exchange isn't there for now. While the end-line stuff is fun to play with, the mod is quite abusable. Diamonds from nothing at a speed of 1 per 8 seconds? Yeeeeaaah kinds breaks the game.

Yeah, me too.  Now that I've gotten a feel for it and understand how all the new content works a bit better, I love it, even more than tekkit. I only miss the well-compiled wiki, and the project table.

Mystcraft is such a fun mod to play with. Design and customize your own subworlds? Worlds can become unstable and corrupt if designed poorly, with flawed or missing components, or greedily? I love every bit of it.

Yeah, and to think that they will be adding EE3, Redpower2, and Thaumcraft 3 when they release.

So far I've just been colleceting ores (and getting lost). Thank hod for the cace view on the minimap. Today I'll probably get some water mills up and running.
