When I dont have any creatures in battlefield and an opponent attacks with one creature. Can I prevent that damage by destroying that creature w/ Rebuke?

JakeyWakey

Sure. As long as it is done during the declare attackers, or declare blockers phases of combat.

Revision: must be done during the declare combat phase!!! When I play in tournaments, I always have to remember to say "combat" or "entering combat" it stinks but it allows your opponent to do stuff. And hopefully they will show the same respect, so that you can smash their attackers faces.

Actually, if you do it during the Beginning of Combat step, they wouldn't have even declared any attackers.  I creature is considered to be attacking from the moment it is declared during the Declare Attackers step (unless {Geist of Saint Taft} or similar puts it into play attacking) until the End of Combat step.
You may target it any time you have priority during that time.
