Ok so the basic theory here is to utilize corpsejack menace to jack up my creatures. Lots of death based cards. Mayb thinking I need some more options to sac my creatures. I normally play casual but I like the even playing field of standard so I'm attempting to get my play group to move to standard for the most part. Any and all suggestions are welcome. In fact I would appreciate any help lol. Im looking to build a standard deck that will hold its own against a casual deck and this idea seemed cool. Any questions as to why a card is in there, just ask and I'll explain. This deck has not been tested, right now it's just a theory with a cheesy name.

Freaking beautiful. What do you find to be your weaknesses? This looks like it has beautiful synergy. All working towards a common goal.

Haha thanks. Not really sure just looking for some outside opinions. I'd like a few more options to sac creatures but if u guys thinks its good to go then I'm satisfied

Thorn

I prefer {Vorapede} over {Primordial Hydra}.
It has unying so you can sac it and when you first cast it it is not as venerable b

Jroch314

Yea but the hydra isn't meant to be sacked unless absolutely necessary. And I have {undying evil} to help me out with that. Plus the hydra really shows its flexibility by being able to be cast for 3. Granted its only a 1/1, but with even 1 {corpsejack menace} out it will get very big very quick. Appreciate the insight though

Myska707

{Tragic Slip} can be used to kill your creatures as well as clear one of your opponents big creatures when you sac a creature

{undying evil} wouldn't help the hydra because is has +1/+1 counters on it

Right on. I would go with a much ruthless {vorapede}.

How about {Bloodflow Connoisseur} as a black creature that gives you some sac'ing options?

How could I have missed this one??? This is a prime example of why I LOVE THIS APP!!

And as far as hydra vs vorapede, Even without the undying I really don't know lol. U guys dropped a bomb in my lap. Tough call, bc hydra + corpsejack menace= REALLY BIG CREATURE REALLY FAST. On the other hand vorapede has undying plus vigilance. I think I'm gonna go 2 and 2 and see which one plays out better.

You need land if you want to cast things. 20 land means turns 1-3 youre most likely going to have one maybe two land, turns 3-7 youre likely to have 2-4 land. Those numbers get worse every time you mulligan, which is likely since you have only have 1/3 land instead of 2/5 (which is ideal with the ramp currently available).
