WotC Censoring

Why is it that some of the art is censored and some not? I know why their censored but why not all of them?

Piotr, the creator of this fine app, is doing this to remove any potential copywrite infringement so the WotC lawyers will have nothing to go after him for.

Yes, I know all that, but its not what I am asking. Im asking why some, but not all are censored?

I guess it is easier to attack one aspect of the app instead of the whole thing. It is easy to accuse one art of violation than all the arts.

Well i noticed the ones that arent censored are cards i alreadt seen and rendered. Those that i havent are censored. That might be it

I'm not sure what his plan is. If it is to "raise awareness" in the app, to encourage us to speak up against the lawyers of WotC, or if he is systematically going to censor every card. Frankly, if they go after iMtG for card images, they should also be going after what is probably hundreds of sites that sell cards too.

I can only see that wotc has a case because we are charged for the app, but all the app does is organize that which is already public, it makes card searching and deck organization easier, and that is what I'm paying for, I'm not paying to look at cards I can see in alot of other places imtg is providing a service, and a damn good one, and for that I have VOLUNTARILY paid for it.

Honestly never had whiskey. At least, that I remember. But if I did, I wouldn't drink something just because it has "Canadian" in the name. ;P I'd drink what most Canucks do, Crown Royal.

Anywho, I'm done with Brandy and the MTGS forum, and they both took a lot out of me. *phew* In the end, Mods closed it down. I feel for you, Piotr. Trololololls.
