As far as rites, the idea of the deck is to constantly put out threats and keep my had full and my life total high. So sacing {Thragtusk} to {Disciple of Bolas} will happen, netting me 5 life, 5 cards and a beast token. Rites let's me put tusk back out there. It has been extremely useful.
