{Desecration Demon} = extremely overpowered, even for a rare.

And why is {Mana Bloom} priced so low, it's basically a battery... Got extra land?  Store it for some fatties later!

I love the demon!  He's amazing!  I don't quite understand mana bloom though...  If I read it right, you get one extra mana, right?  Theres a good chance I read it wrong though.

Whats great about te D Demon is eventually theyll either run out of stuff to sac, or theyll get tired of saccing their stuff. And it they dont, BAM! {Fling} it. {Mana Bloom} would be awesome if it could be used more than once per turn. Unless youre running a mana ramp deck or something, its basically just an extra land that eventually dies.

{mana bloom} is a mana battery for every colour. Got 100 extra mana? Probably not but if you do, save it for your fireball or what not 2-3 turns down the line.

You can only use mana bloom once a turn. Can't remove 20 counters for a massive fireballs.

I just started playing magic and I'm using half of blue and half of green is that a good combo?

I got a question through to Mark Rosewater, something that'd been troubling me.

QuoteHi Mark. First time, long time. I had a number of questions if you'd be so kind. 1) How come all tokens are not double-sided? If you're already printing the front, why not print another token on the rear to cut down on printing more cards? 2) If double-sided "purified" creatures were too costly to make in Avacyn, how come each pack comes with an advertisement card? 3) Why aren't all vanilla creatures full art? For that matter, how come land is not all full art? You should showcase the art.

Welcome. Now let's get to your questions.

1) The tokens are printed on the backside of the ad cards. The ads are what pay for the card. Brand allows R&D to do whatever we want with the backside of the ad cards and one of the things we've chosen to do is make tokens. Why no double-sided tokens? Because the ad cards have to actually have ads on them as that what pays for them.

2) We didn't make double-faced cards for thematic reasons in Avacyn Restored not financial reasons. Also, the ad cards are a different card stock than the normal, playable cards.

3) One of our jobs is to make every set exciting. One of the ways we do that is find things that excite players. We use those things for a while and then put them away to bring back later to excite the players again. That's the nature of an ongoing trading card game.

Goodsdogs

Got two m13 packs last night both had bolas plains walker. but I play commander :/

Honestly, I don't think full art lands would ever get dull.  When a new set comes out, the art on the lands is one of the first things I notice.  As long as they'd use newart on every set, it wouldn't get stale.  And full art vanillas would be really awesome.  Did they do that in a previous set?  I don't understand how doing that wouldn't excite players.

Dudecore

Future Sight had them, like {Blind Phantasm}. I wish they'd do it in all sets, it seems like an evergreen thing they should have done from the start.

Silent1236

Oh ok.  That is really cool.  That would be along the same lines as the lands.  Just keep up cool art and full art cards would never get old.

Coffee Vampire

I heard Wilthomjr got a golgari event deck for 24 big ones!!! Jealousy is in my eyes...ane regret fills my soul. For once I saw many vampire onslaught event decks sold at 15 USD each, yet didn't know that they were that much, so spent my money on other things! After nobody bought them for a long time, the employee bought ALL of them and made a buttload of money!!! This is when {Dismember} was 6 bucks. It comes with a PLAYSET. Gah lol

Wally

A card I would really like to see reprinted in the current block is {Trailblazer's Boots}.
What's my chances?
Thoughts?
