So yesterday was a sad day, as is today. Mitch Lucker of Suicide Silence passed away yesterday morning of injuries from a motorcycle accident. The hardcore scene won't be the same without him

Stand a motorcycle up without the kickstand and what happens? Crashes are inevitable. My condolences to his friends and family. Bikes are inherently dangerous and crashes WILL happen. be careful out there people.

I don't know of Mitch, but my condolences to his family, friends, and fans. It's heartbreaking when an artist you love dies before their time.

I just wanna say motorcycles are about as safe as cars, more maneuverable than a car, it's just a lot worse to crash on one. I ride mine everywhere seeing as it is my only way to get around, and I'm perfectly fine. It is terrible that he died though, I will miss him, but it was just bad luck.

Yes car vs motor cycle car wins. Riding a motorcycle is a responsibility. If you get too comfortable on it something is gonna happen. I ride one often and I always try to stay aware. Yes a bunch of gravel on a turn can kill you, but like mtg everything you can find that what if situation on any type of vehicle.

It's not like I just go joyriding or anything. If it is raining, foggy, or any other weather that makes accidents more common, I get a ride or don't go. You don't have room for carelessness when driving no matter what, so what difference does the wheel count make?

If you crash your car you have a metal cage around you. Although it may crunch you depending on the impact of the crash, it sure protects you more than a helmet. And anything may lead to a crash in a motorcycle: if your front will hits a fallen tree branch you didn't see for any reason, you will likely fall. A car would bump if the branch was big and nothing more. That is the difference the number of wheels make
