Q1. When my slivers hit a player do they cause only poison damage or do they do both poison and regular damage ? Or do u pick

Q2 do all the slivers cause poison 1 total or each one causes poison

Both an each sliver does one poison.

Because it says 'when it does combat damage player gets a poison counter' I would say that it does damage first and as a result of that damage they also get poisoned.

Also it gives each sliver poison, so they all do this on top of normal damage.

Creatures with infect deal damage in the form of poison counters, meaning no loss of life. Just poison counters.

Ya, but its not "infect", it's better. It's "poison". Your ruling on infect is correct but doesn't apply to {virulent sliver}.

Right, I was just referring to his first question. Virulent sliver does both poison and regualr damage. Just giving an example to help clear up any confusion.

It will give 3 poison counters, regardless of power. However, power does still matter, as the creature will still deal regular damage equal to its power, in addition to the 3 poison counters, unlike infect where the poison counters replace the normal damage.
