Ground seal vs scavenge

Does  {Ground Seal} stop Golgari scavenge abilities? Or does it just stop the graveyard creatures from being exiled, or returned to hand etc etc.
I'm guessing scavenge is a passive ability, but ground seal protects cards in graveyards from being targeted?
Just need clarification.....

Doesn't stop any part of scavenge.

Thx just needed clarification! Handy then to have out on the board to stop pesky graveyard attacks!
