Banned from Cockatrice?

I was sitting in a game and all of a sudden I see this come up:

You have been banned until Oct. 23rd
Next time, think twice before insulting a moderator.

I would be willing to accept this IF I HAD DONE ANYTHING. My username is Desolatus and I don't know why I got banned for 14 days if I didn't do anything. Can anyone on cockatrice find out what's going on for me? :(

Didn't you maybe say a bad word to some random guy? Like, he got into your game, you waited a lot for him to prepare, and he just said "gotta go" in the second turn, or anything like that?

A case of mistaken identity maybe? Or maybe they didn't want someone sitting in on their game? Who knows. Sounds crazy to me.

It's just really disappointing to be banned for two weeks after doing nothing. :(

I was just hoping a fellow iMTG'er wouldn't have done that. Anyway, can anyone point me in the right direction to appeal this? I didn't deserve to get banned and I want back on Cockatrice. :/

Do you know the name of the mod that banned you? Email them or go to their forums and see what's up. Just don't be confrontational when you do. Ask what's up and they should be able to tell you, and at least give you the chance to open conversation about it.
