So is it just me or is anyone else just swamped with all the possible awesome decks that can be built with RtR? I'm trying to build an awesome budget deck (something for 50 bucks or less) and there's just soo much good stuff. What are y'all's opinions on good budget decks? I was thinkin selesnya but idk...

Selesnya isn't as budget as you'd think, I just threw one together and the avg value is at $230 usd.

Trostani, shock lands, thragtusks, and a couple sublime archangels will do that though.

yeah see that's where my problem lies. Right now I'm also trying to purchase a galaxy tab 2 and other things for it. That's 500+ dollars gone from my budget. Soo anything under 50 that can win would be awesome

Rackdos aggro can be pretty cheap

You'd be hardpressed to build a deck for less than $50 that'll win more than lose. Maybe a B/R build with some of the cheaper red cards. If most of the RDW good stuff hadn't rotated out than I'd say go for that. I don't know if there are many good mono colored decks out there right now.

Rackdos aggro can be pretty cheap

Just cut the blood cripts and you got a 50 dollar deck and maybe cut the vexings

I miss m12 all these shocklands are killing me moneywise... I still have yet to open any ravnica stuff :/ i just haven't had time....

Assuming you're building standard, it'll be tough no matter which guild colors you go with but possible. Obviously you'll have to omit the shock lands though.

Some possible options:
Rakdos aggression - most agro cards are cheap. {dreadbore} and {Rakdos's Return} might be a bit expensive, but you can probably afford a few {Rakdos, Lord of Riots}
Delver izzet/Azorious - a sorcery/instant heavy delver type deck can be pretty good. {Geist of st Tratf} is too pricey, but {invisible stalker} and {runechanter pike}s are still in your range. Add {W} or {R} to support yourself with spells
-Naya/Boros/Selesnya humans are pretty cheap. Being able to focus on innistrad block will really cut your price tag compared to RTR. And RTR has some really good supplements to this kind of deck.

I Don't like rackdos aggro myself but it is your best budget option

Rakdos agro does fantastic in limited, but without the best-of-the-best removal ({dreadbore}) and the heavy hitting expensive cards, I'm not sure how it will do in constructed. We'll have to wait and see.

I've got a Trostani and that +3/+3 enchantment (amongst others) for trade if you want to go selesneya still

I've put together a fast mono white human/soldiers deck. (Turn 5 or 6 win)
None of my other decks can cope, I anything they will get 1 of 3 (no sideboard yet tho). Gunna give it a shot at fnm and see how it goes.
It's mostly inistrad block stuff, some m13. Not sure what budget, but no huge money cards in there.

Dudes. My bud finished 12th at SCG with his rakdos Aggro. He told me people were pissed getting beat by a cheap jank deck.
