Hex parasite & undying

Should an undying creature die, the ability resolve, and hex parasite is on the playing field, can hex parasites ability be used to remove the counter to keep the creature alive over and over until he (hex parasite) is killed?

Yes, aslong as there are no +1/+1 counters on it, it will keep coming back
