Hi I was wondering if anyone is wiing to trade vinyl records or cards for vinyls. If you do collect post your collection etc. Also if you feel like it feel free to post band memorabelia you have.

Fenster

I dont collect unfortunatly but my father does. He as an extensive collection that takes up more than one wall of shelves.
If i were to guess its more than 5000 records definitly.
I stick with magic though. Takes up less space. ;D

Haha wow, do you know what kind of genres he listens to and if he's willing to trade?

Fenster

I dont think so, sorry. He buys mostly everything he wants on ebay. But well when you got a well paying job i guess you can get yourself some expensive hobbies.
He's got "the best" of pretty much all genres. Not much metal or modern pop and rap.

What in particular are you looking for? I got a good size collection of newer and older stuff.

Progressive rock (King Crimson, Yes, The United States of America, etc), Shoegaze (My Bloody Valentine, Lush, Jesus and Mary Chain) or Hip-Hop (A Tribe Called Quest, El-P, Death Grips etc) my last.fm is last.fm/user/loop-s-pool so anything on their that I listened to I'd be interested in.

Edit: and any Krautrock such as Neu!, Popul Vuh, or Kraftwerk

Nice!! I actually have a lot of Kraftwerk, Yes, and King Crimson stuff but I'm holding onto it. Sorry dude. Also, Death Grips and El-P = +1.

It's understandable, if I had it you can garuntee I'd be holding on to it. What do you have that you'd be willing to let go of?

If I had a decent record store near my I totally would collect vinyl. I might pick up the new Between the Buried and Me on vinyl. Their new album is awesome.
