Maelstrom wanderer and commander

Ok so I have a {maelstrom wanderer} and it gets killed. So I go to cast it again in an edh game so it has another {2} added to it's cost. What's my cascade range? Is it 8 or 10?

Goes by the CMC in the corner, not what you pay, so the original
