NO MORE SWORDS!

Meh. SWAP was only really good one.
They where all OP. there should be no card that is almost mandatory to be in any deck. Basics excluded.

Way wrong. Look at the abilities. {sword of body and mind} mandatory? I don't think so.

{sword of war and peace} was the best and most used one by far.

{sword of feast and famine} was second.

Plus, they're artifacts so THEY CAN be played in any deck. And mythic rare, so it's not like they were super easy to come by.

Not OP.

I didn't really see any other competitively played. Plus, they're artifacts so THEY CAN be played in any deck.

Maybe it was just the meta at the shop I used to play at.
Every single deck had swords. You couldn't even be competitive without playing them. Then again, they did only play three decks between the entire group. I got so tired of spirit tokens....

CajunJynx

Right down to the sideboards. "oh look, a plains, spirit tokens and swords...oh look, a forest, mono green ramp and swords....oh look, an island, UW spirit tokens and swords..."

Easy to come by if you have the cash.

BlackJester

Rass, most things are easy to come by if you have enough cash.

This. I have the cash, but refuse to give in to the flavor of the month. I like my decks to be very unique.
My still unbeaten midrange burn deck, for example.
