If I use {Act of Treason} on something, does the 'end of turn' return of the creature portion use the stack? Would {Sundial of the Infinite} allow me to steal creatures indefinitely.

Fenster

Nah i dont think so.
I cant remember how it worked though.

Sundial ends the turn act of treason says u control creatures till end of turn.  Sundial skips the beginning of the end step stuff though.

Poof

{sudden disappearance} is what I wanted to say it returns everything at beginning of end step u can skip that part with sundial.

If it says "...until end of turn..." Sundial doesn't do anything. If it says "At end of turn.." it uses the stack at the sundial trick works.

To clarify, Sundial doesn't actually stop any triggers from happening/being added to the stack. What it DOES do is exile the stack, then end the turn. Because the turn still ends after it's done, "until end of turn" effects like {act of treason} or {giant growth} still end. But because the stack exiles, if you wait for a "at the beginning of the next end step" trigger to go on the stack, like {stone idol trap}, you can exile the stack (and the trigger). In the case of the trap, you would keep the 6/12 trampler, but only if you use the sundial WHILE the trigger is ON the stack.

After I had re-read the card, I came to the same conclusion. As always, look at the wording.

{Cloud shift}ing the creature would let you keep it though, right?

Yes.

I really do like shift and the dial.
