Question, counter?

With the spell {abrupt decay} for example it says it 'can not be countered' ... What about redirecting it with {redirect} as thot doesn't say 'counter target spell' but 'choose new targets' so it still resolves?

Sure, as long as the target is legal.
Second, as long as there is another legal target it works.
