I am in a situation where I don't know whethe I should
a) buy new clothes for the new season - It has come to the point where I really want new clothes again...yes I am a guy and yes sue me. You and your poorly dressed attourney. ;)
b) buy return to ravinica stuff - I mean hey, it's return to ravinica! Nuff said?!? If I don't then I won't have a deck for FNM.
c) a new balisong (butterfly knife) - I used to be into these things but never picked it back up after my cheap Chinese one broke. :( I know where I can get a quality one for in the $100 range so I really want one right now...

I am thinking of buying the knife first but don't know...maybe waiting to buy cards until gatecrash comes out would be wise anyways. :/

Have you ever been in a situation like this? Or maybe it's the story of your life?

"Hmm buy magic cards or eat for a week. AHH I FEEL A NEW DECK COMING ON!!! Mmmmmmmagic time! I can eat the jank rares I pull!"

Clothes dude. Clothes. I have a thing for clothes as well.

I have this same dilemma every time I have extra money to spend. "A new effect pedal, or cards....effect pedal, or cards....effect pedal....cards......BOTH!!!" Then comes the tongue lashing from my better half 😢😢😢

The knife is a total novelty item that won't actually do anything for you (unless you're a criminal or live in a reeeally bad neighborhood), whereas the clothes are practical, and the cards are social.  Go with clothes or cards, based on which one is going to do more for you and your life. Probably the clothes, but depending on your situation you never know.

Think future. Will te clothes help you make more money to spend on RtR which will keep you in the game so you dont have to struggle catching up an then get the knife asap.

This may be a silly question, but are butterfly knives even legal where you are? 🔪

Dudecore

I'd save up for a gun. Guns are better for self defense, and more fun (in a controlled environent, when used responsibly under the supervision of a certified range master)

And listening to Canada's Arcade Fire (worlds greatest export)

Choice C doesn't seem like a very good way to spend money in my (conservative) opinion. I suppose it would be fine if you actually needed it for say, protection, but that doesn't sound like the case to me. It sounds more like, I have disposable income and I'm gonna spend it. Clothes seem to be the best option, but then again, if you already have enough clothes it could be a waste. I suppose it comes down to what you actually need and/or how much enjoyment you will derive from the use of that purchase. If having a knife that you're never gonna use is what makes you the happiest, then by all means go for it.

You obviously want a + b + c. When you are in a situation like this you should ALWAYS look into the underlying problem, which is your resources are too limited. Your real questions should be along the lines of:

a) can I improve my current source of income?
b) can I change my current source of income to a better one?
c) can I add additional income sources?

and work from there.

I don't know, probs not. But they ship to the US with no problems, I'm confident in this company.
