Since the shock lands coming out in return to ravnica count as both land types say if I had a {stomping grounds} can I cast {invigorate} for free?

Awesome then I have the combo needed for the turn 1 win just gotta hope they don't have a counter

Also I have another question:
If I want to pump a creature do I have to be carefull in what order I throw in the berserk? Or after I declare attack step and no blockers are declared can I pump then wait for it to resolve then pump again if needed?

It's first in, last out, so you need to be careful about the order.  I recommend not over committing and letting each spell resolve first.  Always wait until the last possible opportunity to use your instants and "fast-effects".

Yup 4 sure, I just wanted to make sure if you could wait for instant cards to resolve before casting other instant cards.

Yup after the stack clears you get a chance go play any other instants and abilities before you pass priority.

The stack doesn't have to clear you get priority between each spell resolving

You also get a chance to play fast effects after each spell and ability on the stack resolves too.

Ok I like this let's keep it going, I probably should mention the following because it's part of my mtg savvy and other players may start doing it and its pretty frowned upon but oh well here's one of the many scenes followed by a question:

Say I'm trying to one shot my opponent meaning I want to swing once and do damage for the first time in the current game but do enough to win. It's turn 2 and I swing, they declare no blockers but have untapped land for a possible counter spell. After taking note of that I go to pump once to do half of the necessary damage to win and hold my breath, waiting for a single moment, the one that makes the difference and decides wether I win this turn or not. If my opponent goes to jot down the damage he pretty much forces me to finish em off and activate the second pump spell and win the game. Dose that sound like a legal play?

At this point, its going from comp rules to tourney rules.

If youve gone from declare blockers step into combat damage step, it's too late for you. You need to make sure that you let your opponent know, after they let your second last spell resolve that you want to keep priority. Then cast your {Berzerk} or whatever.

Shortcuts are taken often, players are impatient an they want to move forward with the game. Good players are clear and explicit with what they are doing.
"I cast this targeting him. Response? (pause) No? Okay, it resolves.  I'll hold priority and cast this on my Elf, making him 10/5 infect. Response?"

Yeah this happens usually with the players that are a little too jumpy almost in a hurry to get the game over with

Sometimes it's correct to assume that the player is finished because they usually are.  Be a good player and be clear what you're doing.

And after I let you build up your huge 1 shotter I play {snuff out}. Dang!

Or any number of kill spells, yes yes.

Any combo that plays itself out runs the risk when facing control.

Control definitely makes the game more interesting
